The fall season is back with an amazing list of dizis across all the channels, and it is hard to pick which ones to watch. We at North America TEN have taken a look at what’s coming or running, and have selected the few that we will be tracking because they look so good! Listed in alphabetical order, including summary and other relevant information, here is our Top 12 for you to browse and decide which ones you may want to get lost in. A breathtaking story, an impossible love overshadowed by revenge and betrayal, “A.Riza”, the ambitious production of Show TV with its strong staff and immersive story debuted recently with an explosive first episode. Popular actors of the series, Tolga Sarıtaş and Ayça Ayşin Turan, bring to life the intersecting and changing lives of Ali Riza, who lives a humble and honest life, and Halide, whose father is one of the bosses of the dark world.
A.Riza has started with some decent ratings for Sunday night, and slowly inching its way into the top 10 shows of the week. You can read a great review of the show here.
An iconic show from the Turkish dizi world boasting an outstanding cast, Cukur is back with its fourth season. As the story unfolds with neighborhood politics, feuds and family dynamics, new additions to the cast include Baris Arduc, which gives way to an onscreen sensation with the interplay among artistes such as Aras Bulut Iyinemli, Damla Sonmez and more.

3. Dogdugun Ev Kaderindir
Last season’s hit drama starring Ibrahim Celikkol and Demet Ozdemir is coming back for Season 2. This season promises many heart-wrenching scenarios that explore the perpetual question for women: Can we love ourselves while we love a man?

The successful Turkish drama series is returning for a third season! Now that Miran has given up his revenge against Hazar Shadoglu, the purported killer of his parents, will he and Reyyan be able to live their love? This season promises a reveal of Reyyan’s father, the real Aslanbey heir and the much sought after ‘Third Enemy’. Many secret reveals and a much awaited union between the ill-fated lovers.”
Hercai is now back with its third season and the ratings are lower than expected. However, with some Friday shows making an exit, it may change the numbers game shortly. A review from Season 1 gives an idea as to why Hercai captured the hearts and minds of millions across the globe.
5. Iyi Gunde Kotu Gunde
Abandoned at the wedding table, Leyla is forced to organize the wedding of her ex Sarp (Ozan Dolunay) who hides the reason for his departure. Melisa, unaware of everything, just wants a dream-like wedding. Each with a connection to the others, only a twist of fate could bring the three together in this romantic comedy.
Saturday evenings are known for low ratings as most viewers probably have weekend plans with family and friends. The show ratings haven’t been great but remains very popular on social media, with the #LeySar pair topping the pairs social media ranking last week.
6. Kirmizi Oda
Inspired by the story of psychiatrist Dr. Gulseren Budayicioglu, the series draws from real stories of patients who attended a psychiatric clinic. The series will include the pains, joys, happiness, and sadness that underlie each life story and will touch the soul of the audience. While the patients during their sessions tell the secrets that they could not tell anyone else, the viewers will gain insights about their own lives.
The show has quickly become the top rated show for Friday nights, and is one of the top shows for the week. Binnur Kaya will play her role as psychiatrist in the upcoming season premiere for Dogdugun Ev Kaderindir as well, as both the shows are produced by OGM.Pictures.
7. Masumlar Apartmani
Based on a story by Gulseren Budayicioglu’s novel Inside the Medallion, Safiye and Gulben are two sisters whose lives are full of obsessions. Their brother Han is the only true link between this family, which includes their sick father, and the world. Han’s whole life purpose is to keep this family alive by shuttling between work and home. However, Han’s world will change when he sees Inci. It will make Han run after his own happiness for the first time. The Derenoglu family, who spend every day on their toes, will get even more out of control with the arrival of Inci.
In just two episodes, Masumlar Apartmani is vying for the top spot for the week in ratings. For its second episode, the show posted the highest ratings in the AB and ABC1 categories for the week. 8. Menajerimi Ara
With celebrity guest appearances by celebrities acting as themselves, Menajerimi Ara looks at the world of celebrities through the machinations of a talent management firm. Seen through the lens of Dicle (Ahsen Eroglu), an ambitious young woman, we witness the drama of celebrity life and the melodrama of the agents tasked with representing the stars in a world where personal and professional lives blend together to confront social issues. Menajerimi Ara was adapted from the French show Dix Pour Cent!, on Netflix entitled Call My Agent. The show is performing decently by placing within the top 10 shows for the night, but faces very tough competition from Masumlar Apartmani, which has captured the hearts of the local audience very quickly. Here is a trailer for Episode 3, where one of our network actors, Cagatay Ulusoy, had a guest appearance.
After a number of cast members left at the end of Season 1, Ramo is back with promises of a strong show that continues to push the understanding and boundaries of deep conflicts of family, justice, revenge, friendship and love.

10. Sen Cal Kapimi
Summer’s hit romantic comedy Sen Cal Kapimi follows the magical love story between Serkan Bolat (Kerem Bursin), a rigid and unyielding businessman, and Eda Yildiz (Hande Ercel), a free spirited and ambitious student. Although Eda hates Serkan for bringing her academic career to an abrupt halt, she finds herself contractually bound to him in a fake engagement. Will she win back her scholarship, and will Serkan stave off a threat to his family’s holding company, or will they just fall hopelessly in love in spite of themselves? Read an early review here.
Given the strength of its ratings, reports suggest that Sen Cal Kapimi will continue into the fall season, maintaining its Wednesday slot. MFYapim already lists a plan of 75 episodes for international distribution, which translates into 25 Turkish length episodes. Competition for the night’s ratings will start from this week once Dogdugun Ev Kaderindir is back on air.
11. Uyanis Buyuk Selcuklu
This is a big-budget historical drama focused on the Selcuk Empire, as Sultan Meliksah takes the reigns of the Empire. 1037 – 1194, the Selcuks united the fractured political landscape of the eastern Islamic World and played a key role in the first and second crusades. With an epic journey woven with love, power struggle, revenge and more, this promises to be another successful franchise for TRT1, which specializes in historical dramas.
For the authenticity of the series, a new city of 7,500 square meters has been built, and thousands of period pieces created. The first episode required 60 days to complete, with elaborate sets and action scenes. The actors also received extensive training in horse riding and sword fighting.
Bugra Gulsoy, known to North America TEN audiences as Guney tekinoglu from Kuzey Guney, enacts the role of Sultan Meliksah. With its debut on Monday, the epic premiere posted top ratings for the night, with excellent audience response.
12. Yeni Hayat
Adem is a former special forces officer. After an injury while on a mission, Adem is compelled to abandon military service and will begin a new civil life. He is hired as a body guard to Yasemin, the wife of a wealthy and powerful businessman with shady dealings. The two are immediately at odds with each other, but sense an attraction. How will Adem and Yasemin’s relationship evolve against his responsibilities as a father to Ece and husband to Nevin?
