If you are like me, a die-hard Kuzey Güney fan, you will be ecstatic to read The missing scenes, an expanded ending for the series, written by Marie Hartis and Michele Calderon, both valued members of Kivanç Tatlituğ North America.
While the series had a happy ending, most fans would agree that it felt a bit rushed, leaving us wanting more. And left some questions unanswered. We endured 80 agonizing episodes watching our beloved Kuzey be doggedly hunted by Ferhat, deceived by his loved ones and exploited by everyone around him. We watched him cry tears of anguish at losing his best friend, and yearning for his one true love, Cemre. And so, we hoped that we (and they) could have had at least a couple more episodes of pure romance, to wash away all the suffering.
We loved the beautiful proposal of marriage under the stars, but even then, our happiness was interrupted by events that followed immediately after! How we longed to see more of Kuzey’s happiness with Cemre once they were together !
There was lot of discussion on our forum about this over the years. We later learned through director Hilal Saral, that due to the cultural taboo in Turkey surrounding the circumstances of their relationship, there was little more that could be shown. And so even the series’ finale quickly cut to the happy ending ; Kuzey and Cemre driving off into the sunset. Leaving all of us to only imagine privately, what other moments they might have had.
Well, we finally get our wish — because THE MISSING SCENES, fills in all the gaps AND provides us with more of the expanded happy ending and details we longed for. It answers the many questions we as fans had, left unresolved in the final episode; and also gives us an intimate, thoughtful glimpse into Kuzey and Cemre’s life as a married couple.
This book is technically a fan fiction, but it is tastefully written and stays true to the spirit of the series and its characters. There’s romance, there’s comedy and there are tender moments, just like we would expect. It speaks beautifully in the voices of the characters we’ve come to love over 80 episodes, and folds in events of past episodes for context.
We are so honored to publish it here, and can’t wait for you to read it ! Click to continue.

What is the best way for me to get to watch these Turkish masterpieces. I’m a Kivanc fan (after watching Seyit v Sura on Netflix) and I fell completely in love with Magnificent Century for which I paid a fortune to watch the complete series). But I need to be able to watch them without paying an arm and a leg!
You can watch all of Kivanc’s series on this site for a fee of 30 USD per year. Please go to members area and scroll to where it says subscribe.
